Some movies cannot be adjusted for brightness and conrast.

I am playing some clips using moviemaker but not all of them can have the
brightness and contrast adjusted with the slider bars.
Why do some movies not allow this?
Please help, Frank

Frank, I don't understand what slider bar controls you have for brightness
and contrast... Movie Maker only has special effects that you apply to a
clip... no adjustments offered via sliders.

Would you explain it some more?
