Windows Movie Maker

When playing movie clips, the video in the preview window looks very bright.
How can I fix this. However, the clips listed in the collection look normal.
It is only when the clips are played that the clips/movie looks washed
out/too bright. Please help. I have checked playing videos on other
applications and they look normal it is only in Windows Movie Maker. Any
help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

What are the file types, mm works best with dv-avi and wmv

Remember, the 'preview window' is very low quality. Save your movie and see
if the quality is good when you view in media player. If your clip is too
bright, try using a 'darken' effect.
