This may have been discussed in this NG before...my apologies.

When publishing with FP 2003 I am almost constantly getting a message;
"Some itmes have changed..." advising me to overwrite, cancel or keep
it the same. The program did not use to do this, but now is doing this
more frequently.

Any way to turn this off? i know the files just changed...I just
changed them!

Hi Jeb,

Under Remote Web Site Properties | Publishing

Hello again,

I'm just gotten around to testing this and there appears to be a
problem. I have gone to the window you suggested and find that all of
my webs have the "change pages only" button checked and they still que
me to overwrite the pages.

Is there another location to fix this or is it a bug in the program?

By any chance are you, or someone else opening / modifying the web using a different computer or
possibly logging on to the same machine with another user name??
If so that can cause what you see because FP marks the files that are changed with the author name
which just happens to be the user name you are logged onto the machine with.

And have you published All at least once before switching to publish Changes only?

yes. These are "long-standing" webs that are using the FP-FTP to
update the pages.

I only have one web that is on a server with FP extensions and I don't
think I've checked that one. I'll test it and get back.
