Some images print, others do NOT

When i print a presentation in BW, all of the images print. When I send the
presentation to our color laser printer, some images don't print at all.
Help!

Time to put on the Sherlock Holmes hat.

What type of printer is the color laser? Is it PostScript or not?

What's different about the images that print vs those that do?
 
The printer is a Xerox Splash G640. Yes, it is a Postscript printer.

The images are all inserted (not copy/pasted). some are jpegs some are
gifs...

OK ... is there any pattern to which print and which don't?
