Solver will not appear in tools menu

Hello, I'm running Excel 2003 and have been using the Solver Add-in with
success. I'm familiar with the proper loading procedure (Tools > add-ins >
check the solver box > click OK) and normally the Solver will show up in
tools menu right away, but today it will not. I have tried repairing
Microsoft Office in Change/Remove programs, replacing the solver XLA and DLL
files in the Solver folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\Library\SOLVER), multiple reboots and still it will not show
up. Actually I believe all of my add-ins are now misbehaving this way. Please
advise - thanks!

I will answer my own question. I went to the Excel Help menu > Detect and
Repair, re-installed Excel and that took care of everything. For some reason,
re-installing via Change/Repair Programs did not work.
