Software Update Service Client Installation

I am setting up a Software Update Services Server and the
server has setup properly. When installing the client on
Win 2000 Pro. Win 2000 Server, Win XP Pro or Win XP home
I receiv the message "Windows 2000 or XP is required" and
the installation fails. I have not been successfull
finding a solution on the knowledgebase. Any advise is
appreciated.

if you downloaded the client, it is only for pc's that DO NOT have sp3
or later, or XP... they come with the client already installed...
