software installation

Hi all,
I have a Server 2003 and some XP workstations. I moved
some data from their old server (win98) to the new server
2003. I have the software used to access that data.
However I can't install it. Even as adminstrator.

I get "The installshield wizard (ikernel) could not be
installed. Ikernel could not be copied to C:\program
files...etc. Make sure you have appropriate priveleges
to copy files to this folder. (0x5)"
I was able to install a map software used for directions
but not a screensaver software.

Has anyone seen this before? And what was the cause?

You might get a better response posting to a group for the correct OS, but
right off the bat, are you sure that your w98 software is compatible with
Server 2003?
