Software Error 1320

Everytime I try to load OLYMPUS Master software for my camera I get 1/2 and
then error 1320: Specified path is too long C:\Binaries. Olympus said it
was a Windows problem and couldn't help. What now?
 
This is a Windows Installer error message. Other software companies that use Installer make some points.

You can't install to a subst drive. This is for security reasons (apparently). There also seems to occur, as in your case, when the programers ignore convention and scatter their directories over the hard drive. Do you have permission to create the folder their. If you create the folder by hand does it then work. Can you change the destination to C:\program files\cannon.
