Software Distribution Service 2.0, when auto upd runs, constantly
reinstalling.. tried to do a system restore to numerous points, says it
cannot restore.. please help.. os is XP Media Center ver 2002 service pk 2

Installed Software Distribution Service 2.0 on 12/17/06. I ran into an EI
problem on 12/18/06 AM and attempted a system restore to correct the problem.
My system restore doesn't work either. Posted "System Restore doesen't
work" today.

I got a reply from Captain Jim. He recommended closeing Norton (Symantic)
down. Shut it down and successfully did a system restore.
