Hi all,
I recently installed a program called "Music maker dance edition", but had
to uninstall it, as it caused a serious blue screen crash. The makers of the
software run a diagnostic test on my PC, which showed that I needed various
updates, such as bios. I installed the updates, but I am not sure whether to
try & install the program again. Is there a program that I could install that
shows reasons for crashes, or does Windows XP have such a system? I am
thinking of downloading Everest home edition, but can anyone tell me if this
will show the cause of crashes?

Many thanks in advance.

Ian.

Hi Ian

You may get some idea of what caused the crash by looking in the Event
Viewer. From Start>Run type:

eventvwr.msc
