software compatibility

I am running windows XP.I have flight sim 98 and Falcon
4.0 among other games That I use to run on windows
98.utilizing Microsoft sidewinder precision pro.the games
can be loaded on Xp,but when I try to load the sidewinder
game controller softwareI get a msg"sidewinder game device
software 3.x installs drivers that are incompatible with
this version of windows.for more info contac microsoft".It
would not let me load the software.Ihave no luck so far in
solving this problem.if someone out there knows of a site
or fix to care this delimna I would appreciate all or any
help.

You can fix the hardware compatibility problem by buying a
new joystick/wheel that is designed for XP.
