SnapshotViewer

Dear ALL,

I have an application written in MS Access XP, I'm using the outputto
(snapshot) function to display some reports. I've built my .Mde file but some
end-users are using MS Access 2003 and in some cases this function does not
work properly (even after un-installing 2003 and re-installing xp). I've
noticed that the snapshot viewer library have 2 different versions on xp and
2003.
How should I resolve this without upgrading to 2003.
Note: while trying to replace the new version of snapshot viewer by the old
one, on runtime the new version is re-installed.

Thanks in advance.

The Snapshot *Viewer* has nothing to do with creating Snapshot files. In fact
you don't even need to have it installed at all to create them (only to view
them).

I meant SNAPVIEW.OCX by SnapshotViewer, the Library

note: on one machine, I removed the MS Access 2003 and installed the MS
Access xp ad i replaced the Snaphot Viewer folder in C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared. and it worked. now I still need to let it work on MS
Access 2003.

Thanks.
jouj.

Still has "view" in the name right? It has nothing to do with the OutputTo
function that you are having problems with.
