Snapshot viewer and empty page

Tim

My report is emailed using the snapshot feature, but when a specific user
opens it, it's just an empty page. Others can open the report with snapshot
except this user.

I download the viewer from MS website and re-install it into that user's
machine. Still doesn't work. I shut the machine down and turn it on again.
Still doesn't wokr! I open My Computer -> Tools -> Folder options -> File
Types tab and the .SNP extension is there (and the MS Office Access Snapshot
Viewer is there, too). Still doesn't work!
Can you please help me how to fix this problem?
Thank you - tim

What does the user have for a Default printer for the system in question? If
it is a network printer have the user install a local printer driver. The
printer does not have to be physically available.

Print Prviews(which is basically what a Snapshot file is) are built from a
combination of Printer metrics and the current settings of your Graphics
card. If the Printer Driver change does not resolve your issue, then
temporarily, have the user select one of the basic WIndows Video card
drivers.

Thank you for your help, Steve. This user was able to use snapshot on his
machine before and then suddently it stoped working. Since it worked before
do you think somethig wrong with his graphics card or (window) video card. If
so, maybe either card need to be replace?

Tim I already gave you advice to try chanding the users current drivers for
both the Printer and the Graphics card. YOu do not need to change the
hardware just to test.

Steve, I changed the printer driver. For the graphics card, I updated the
driver. Still does not work :( Please be adviced

I advised you to change the Graphics card driver to one of the native
vanilla Microsoft WIndows video card drivers. Updating your current driver
is not sufficient to verify whether the driver itself is at fault or not.

Can you view the Snapshot file on your machine? Is it only the users machine
where the Snapshot is blank?

Steve,
Sorry I am not able to reply to you earlier...Your question is exactly what
happen in this case. Only this user has the problem. Everybody else
including me is able to view the Snapshot file. Please help! Thank you.

Have you changed the User's Graphic's Card driver to one of the plain
Microsoft drivers?

Have you changed his display resolution? Color Depth?

You need to try all of the things I have asked before we can move any
further on this issue.

Can you show me how? I go to the user's Device Manager, on "Display
adapters", I see Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family. Right
click on this and click on the Driver tab -> Driver Details, I see a list of
files but I don't know which one!!
I also try to select "Monitors" on the "Device Manager", but nothing shows
me there is the Graphic's Card driver. I am confused ...
