SmartCard driver error

I am making an windows xp embedded build for a hp nc6220 laptop, it has an
builtin smartcard reader (from texas instruments). But the driver doesn't
work, in the hardware screen it has a yellow exclamation mark.
Any ideas?

Maybe I am missing components? Could anyone tell me all the components needed
for smartcards?

In Dutch the error report is:
"Windows kan het apparaatstuurprogramma voor dit apparaat niet in het
geheugen laden. Mogelijk is het stuurprogramma beschadigd of het ontbreekt.
(Code 39)"

Translated in English:
"Windows can't load the driver for this machine into the memory. The driver
could be damaged or is missing. (Code 39)"

Any ideas???

Please check \windows\setupapi.log for more info about the driver failure.
