smart media

I have an olympus digital camera with a smart media
card. The camera works fine, but when I insert the card
into the smart media reader on my laptop, it doesn't read
the pictures. The card is formatted for FAT files. Does
anyone know why the pictures wouldn't appear?
 
did you ever sort this problem as i have the same problem with my computer
