I am trying to set up a small network of 3 computers.
I access internet via cable modem, and want to connect the modem to a
router. I have 3 computers, 2 running XP Prof and the other running XP Home.
I want to connect these to the router too, so any one computer can access
Internet even if the other computers are switched off. I will also share
files and printers.
My question - how do I set up such a network? I am not familiar with domain
names - in the past I used only peer to peer networks and ICS. This type of
network, however, is not suitable for what I need to do.
Any advice will be welcome.
