Small but annoying problem

Hello all

As the title suggests, this is nothing bad but it really irks me. If I
right-click on an icon in my systray - say I want to shut down a program
without first restoring the window or something - the menu for the program
appears, but so does the menu for the taskbar, often overlaid. I can click
somewhere else or sometimes I can see the menu item I want anyway, but you
can imagine how annoying this is. Fully up-to-date Windows XP and Norton AV
running constantly.

Thanks very much in advance,
Huw

I may be wrong but it sounds like the cursor is hovering over both when
right clicking. try adjusting screen resolution to see if this helps. I had
problems with 1600X1200 (mostly due to small icon size) and went to 1152X852
and don't have that problem anymore.

Thanks Dave. I suppose it could be that but I'm only running at 1024x768
and this has never happened to me before. It doesn't happen all the time so
I can live with it, but it's like having a very small itch I can't scratch,
ya know?
