Windows XP Pro. workstation joined domain. After login, a pop-up windows
stating "Applying personal settings...". It takes quite some time for the
windows to go off & access to the desktop.
In Windows 2000 workstation, is ok.

Check your dns settings and be sure the workstation is looking to the
dns server for them, with a different gateway set for the Internet, if
appropriate.
