I have the slow printing problem on Windows 2000 reported
in other knowledge base entries. This has to do with the
TCP 4KB buffer size and it was slated to be fixed in SP3.
On my system, I had not done an update for quite some time
and when I tried, it sent me to SP4 (no SP2,3 available).
Yet the problem remained after update. Can anyone point me
to a means for fixing this problem manually?
Thanks,
G. Jacobs

You can try 2 things....1)you can try to increase the
print spooler priority on the system by going to this
site....http://www.winnetmag.com/Article/ArticleID/38733/3
8733.html....2)you can go onto the print server, open
printers, right click on the printer, go to advanced
tab. Make sure start printing immediately is selected,
and you can try to select print spooled documents first.
That might help...
