Slow Start Up WOW!!

I mean slow. My computer is taking forever to boot for the past few days.
Have run defrag on all drives, sfc scannow, ad aware and virus scan. Also
removed latest program addition (rio music manager).
Have rebooted many times with no change.

Xp with sp2
gateway 700gr

Any help?

Don't want to alarm you, but I, too, have been having slow running problems.
I ran NAV and discovered I had Bloodhound and Trojan Horse invasion. These
have been isolated now and quarantined. Do you have the very latest NAV?
I'd run a thorough check again. Might have something going on.

No, I am just stupid!! I had a CD in one of my drives, I thought I checked
both but I guess not.
