Browser too slow

In the past week, Internet Explorer browser has been very slow to load. I
use broadband cable, and email, newsgroup load quickly enough. I used
ad-aware, did defrag, Scan for viruses,still no luck . Any suggestions?

go to Tools Internet Options Settings make sure the top button to check
every visit to a page is marked.

Also set the size for the temporary files to be a number less than 10!

Then hit OK then delete your temporary files this will take a few minutes
see if that helps!
