I am printing to a zebra z4m thermal printer from a
custom label printing software written by myself in
access 97. The pages would spool at a normal rate and
print very fast with win 98 but when I started using this
on an xp machine the spooling is now very slow. The
pages are being sent to the thermal printer at a very
slow rate.
I can pause the printer and wait for all the pages to
spool then the printer will print at normal speed. This
is a driver issue im sure. Does anyone know any methods
for speeding up the way pages are spooled to printers??
Also I dont have this problem with any other printers. I
have tried it through my network and directly connected
to lpt port. I have also tried every driver i can find
on the market they all behave the same way.
