Hi Paul,

I had the same problem and found that if you go to: Tools,
Options, Other and UNtick the Instant Messenger mine
speeded up significantly.

Thanks for the suggestion.
However, mine doesn't have the Instant Messenger option.
Any other suggestions?

Sorry Paul,

I'm running Outlook 2002 so mine is different. Only thing
I might add is to see if you can shut down Instant Msgr
from your toolbar (bottom right hand side) or the main
Start menu.
