Slow performance for slides with by-word or by-letter animation in PowerPoint 2007

Hi,

I tried a making a simple slide show using a by-letter animation (rise up)
and found out that PowerPoint performance is very slow for about 2-10
seconds after the slide is displayed and then continue on normally.

I do not have this problem with PowerPoint 2003.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

You have a whole thread going on above. Why repost, especially if you're not
going to give repro steps, etc., here?

Sorry about that. I actually posted this thread first and found someone
started a thread on PowerPoint 2007. Just tried my luck there and it seems
like it started to grow there.
