Slow network drive access

I have a Windows 2000 machine, that has the Novell Client.

When I open up My Computer, it takes like 2-3 mins before
the drives show up. If I am not logged into Novell, it
doesn't happen.

The worst part is, when the user does a Save As in Word,
it takes 2-3 mins before he can even choose a place to
save it.

Any ideas?

We have a lot of Win2000 machines, but this one takes way
to long to recognize the network drives.

Thanks in advance for any help.
