The Windows XP is suddenly loggin in so slow now. It takes ages to pass the "Applying Computer Settings" and then it loads in snail-speed on the desktop. After that it load in normal speed again. Is it something wrong with the program?

I've checked virus and such. I also have cleared temporay files and cookies to but the computer is still slow. I deleted the first three profiles and created a new if it was some problem on the profiles but it didn't helped at all.

Please help! Any help will be appreciated!

Are you on Domain or Home computer.
if you are on domain, you have to enter the DNS on you computer's Network
properties the address of your DNS server.
Apply HF Q329170, you can get it from MS website.
Goto Add Remove Programs->click on Add/Remove Windows Component->click on
Networking Server->Click on Details and
uncheck "Internet Gateway/Device Discovery and Control Client.

I, and many people I know on XPPro with a workgroup, have this same
problem as well.
I don't think it has ever been identified.
Perhaps you have a suggestion for us?
