Slow login, word crashes a lot

Hello,
We have a Windows 2000 SP4 server. One XP client machine
takes ages to log on to the network (at the applying your
personnal settings bit). Also Word crashes a lot on this
machine which is getting very annoying. The other client
machines are OK (Word crashes occasionally on one).

I have sorted the slow login problem, it needed to be told
the prefered dns server.

However word crashing a lot, especially when using
networked files is a problem
