Slow file properties box :-(

On my work laptop suddely the "Properties box" for files (the one with
info, attributes etc) takes 20 seconds before it appear. System is not
slow anywhere else. Anyone know what could case this and a cure?

I assume you are getting Properties via right-click. See:
