Slow down

When I shut down Windows Home it take 2min for the shut down box to
come up. Running a AMD Sempron 3000+ 1gig mem 80 gig DH and 40 gig HD.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help

Do any registry tweaking. I have seen similar issues when this tweak is
used:

Undo it if it is there.
