iNSTALLING WINDOWS XP

I have just built another pc with a foxxcon mother board 760GXK8MC 754 SOCKET
3gig amd sempron half a gig of memory 80 gig seagate hard drive cd rom aopen
dvd writer when trying to install windows all goes fine until it tries to
copy files to the hard drive then at shell32 file it falls over and eventualy
comes up with a blue screen and a stop warning of a non paged error is this a
memory fault

Have you set your optical drives correctly as master & slave. It could be a
memory fault although you'll never know unless you can substitute the
module. I believe you can create a boot disk to test the memory but I'm not
sure which would be the best.

I notice the motherboard has adjustable memory timings, can you set these to
default.
