I have an AMD 64 - 3000 with 768 meg 1 hard drive(40 gig) a CDRW running
WinXP Pro (32bit). About 1 week ago it started shutting down with a BSOD -
Machine Check Exception. I have not added any hardware or software to this
machine in over 1 year.

Can anyone give me a clue as to why I am getting it or what to do about it?

TIA

Boot to setup CD, and recovery Console, to run the BOOTCFG /REBUILD command (and if no help, perhaps FIXBOOT and FIXMBR)
