Hi there, my computer runs really slow and am talking
taking almost 20mins to bootup and about 6secs for even
the start button to come up when it's clicked. The
problems i had a 128MB RAM even dbld it to 256 and even
refromatted my computer. Now i have no documents or
installed programs onmy comp but it still runs that slow.
When i slut my WIN XP Cd to re-install or something the
TREND CHIPWAY virus guard alerts me on a BOOT sector virus.
Trying to install WIN 2000 on the same comp (XP removed)
it takes almost 5hrs to formatt 9still on 60% complete.
What could be wrong? Please help

When reformatting a disk, the boot sector is not affected. The best
option is to use an antivirus emergency disk set to remove the virus.
This feature is available in any antivirus system.
