Slow boot-up

I am currently running Windows 2000 professional. I am
running this at home, not on a network, but have user
groups for my family members.

The problem is that the PC takes about 2 minutes to boot-up
to the desktop.
(after typing in the id/password).

Can someone please help?

Right click on "My Computer" and choose "Manage." Look at the Event Viewer
category and check the individual logs for errors.

When you have finally booted up, download and use EasyClean, both for
registry and un- needed files.
