slow boot up

I have just loaded norton security 2004 to a new computer and also a wireless key board and mouse.My computer is now taking around 5 minutes to boot up. athlon 3200+ windows xp home
 
Uninstall Norton and try to get your money back. Problem solved.

I'll second that !

Recently I have had to uninstall Norton from approx 8 friends machines to
fix the Slow Problem. Installed the free Avast Antivirus and they all run
great now.
