slooooooooooow to open...!!!!!

New problems with my IE6 and Windows Explorer.

Both are slow to open. Windows Explorer takes a minute or 2 to fully open.
IE6 takes 3+ minutes to open and to open my home website.

This is new and unacceptable!!
I have not installed anything new.
My system: P4 2.4gHZ, 512mb RAM, WinXP Home.

I have done a complete virus scan, disk defrag and surface scan.
Also I ran the latest version of SpyBot.

What else can I do?
