Slightly OT: Why does Hotmail convert to Thai language sometimes after logging out?

Slightly OT as this is not an XP question but it IS a Microsoft-based
web site:

I have no idea why this does this, but sometimes when I log out of
Hotmail, when it goes back to the main page, it goes to a Thailand
home page instead of the normal English home page. It USED to go to
the Singapore home page...

Any ideas why this happens and how to fix it?

Where did you get/buy your WinXP or any other applications you've installed
lately?
Have not added any apps. In fact, I've noticed this happens on the
computers at work, too, but only coming out of Hotmail. Seems to be
something that only my Hotmail does, though I am not sure. It may
happen with others' Hotmail as well. That is one reason why I'm asking
here, to see if anyone else has had the same experience.

Delete (all of) your (Hotmail and Passport) cookies and see if things
improve.

Know that there have been a huge amount of problems in the past 2 months
with MSN/Hotmail and Passport servers. Many are having similar problems but
the specific one you describe is a new one for me.

I feel really stupid, but I have to clear this up, anyway...

I somehow had put "Thailand" as my place of residence in the My
Account or whatever part of Hotmail. Once I changed that back to U.S.
the problem was solved. Apparently it had been like that all along but
I only recently noticed it.

Doh!
