Slides will only advance on Page Up/Down, not space bar or mouse c

After I used Breeze to record my presentation, the slides will no longer
advance using the space bar or left mouse click. They only advance on PgUp or
PgDn. I thought it was just an issue with my PC, but the same problem exists
when others try to use the files on their computers. I am using PowerPoint
2003 and Adobe Breeze Presenter 5.1.269. Doing a Save As does not fix the
problem. I would really appreciate any suggestions you have to fix this.

Maybe "on mouse click" was removed in the slide transitions somehow.

I do not know what caused the problem, but here is how I fixed it ... I
opened up another presentation with animation that was working normally and
that used the same template (to avoid reformatting problems). Then I saved
this as a new file, deleted all of the slides, and imported all of the slides
from the "corrupted" presentation. The space bar and left mouse click now
advance the slides and animations, as do PgUp and Down.
