PowerPoint crashes when recording Breeze

I'm hoping someone has an idea on how to help. I have a new computer running
XP Professional SP2, Microsoft Office for Students & Teachers 2003, SP2 and
Macromedia Breeze Presenter 5.1.269. I create a PowerPoint presentation and
then access the Breeze menu to record audio. As soon as I click on the red
record button I receive the message "PowerPoint has encountered a problem and
needs to close." I am running the latest build of Breeze and have been
unsuccessful getting a response from anyone at the Adobe (Macromedia) site. I
am not sure if this is a Breeze issue or a PPT issue so I'm posting here in
the hope that someone will have an idea of what to do to fix my problem.
Everything ran just fine on my previous computer.

I have tried different microphones - both USB and microphone jack. I have
also uninstalled and reinstalled Breeze several times and several different
versions.

Have you tried recording your audio without PowerPoint running? then
inserting it after you have finished recording? Could be something that the
two programs running at the same time that causes the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can record audio using Windows sound recorder
and can import it. Breeze is a PPT add-in so I can't use that without running
PPT. Recording outside of PPT and importing into Breeze would not be a very
feasible long-term solution.
In case there's a good clue to solving the problem, my error details are as
follows: 6icrosoft Office 11, Faulting application powerpnt.exe, version
11.0.8024.0, stamp 4451e0be, faulting module ppsaudio.dll, version 1.0.0.1,
stamp 3fb9a03a, debug? 0, fault address 0x0000a99f.

ppsaudio.dll is located in the Macromedia Breeze folder.
thanks.

I've never used the product, but you might try here for some more
information http://www.indezine.com/products/powerpoint/addin/breeze.html
and hopefully Geetesh will jump in with a solution.
