Slides disappear in Powerpoint 2003

I have a Powerpoint file that was sent to me recently. I believe the file
was created in Powerpoint 2002. When I open the file in 2003 some of the
slides (approximately half of them) show up as blank slides. I had forwarded
the file to myself from another computer that only had Powerpoint 2000. The
weird thing is that I could view the file in 2000 and all the files showed
up. The problem in 2000 is that I cannot manipulate the rotation of the
figures in the presentation as I need to.

I'd appreciate any help you can provide...

Thank you for the tip...I did the update and now I can see the slides...By
the way, my software is Dell OEM...when I spoke with Dell's help line they
wanted to charge me "to teach me how to drive the car"...when I pointed out I
only wanted the car to start, they hung up on me...can you imagine they'd
charge $39-200 to tell you to load the updates that were clearly directed to
correct a known defieciency in their/MS's software???

Thank you again...
