slides cut-off on laptop and projector during slideshow

When viewing a powerpoint presentation, part of the slides are cut-off on
both the laptop screen and the connected projector. When not in Slide-Show
mode, everything is ok.

Any thoughts?

If there are graphics on the slide, select and move them to one side.
Look for the gray area that surrounds each slide in PPT's main edit screen.
The slide itself is what shows in slideshow view; anything that extends off
the slide gets cropped.

Usually it's just a matter of sizing the graphics down so they don't extend off
the slide.
