Powerpoint display is cut off on data projector display.

The display of Powerpoint slides from my laptop is too large for the data
projector screen. Other presenters didn't have this problem.

Data projectors have a maximum resolution and may not be able downsize larger
images to fit.

You need to match your computer's video settings to the capabilities of the
projector. Most top out at 1024x768 ... try resetting your computer
temporarily to that (rightclick desktop, choose Properties from popup menu,
etc)
