Slide transition mouse click problem

Some of the slides on my PP presentation, I have to click twice to move to
next slide. I can't figure out how to advance to another slide by just a
single mouse click. Thanks

Chances are, that there is something on your individual slides, that is
waiting for 'a mouse click'

For example, if you have each bullet point (on a bullet slide) to appear on
a mouse click, it's quite common for there to be some 'empty returns/enters'
at the end of your text block.

To check for this..click your cursor just after your last word. Then hold
down the Delete key on your keyboard. This will gobble up any empty spaces

I did what you advice me, but I don't see anything.

I set automatic text animation within the slide and mouse click to advance
the next slide. I also discover, when I hit back button, the content didn't
appear. I got click back twice to make the entire content of the previous
appear.

Can you check if there isn't any object outside your slide with Ctrl+A
(select everything) If so, you can delete these extra objects
