slide transition issue! moving to next slide creates problem.

I have a presentation online, and each time you advance to the
next slide, a discussion box pops up: "This document has been modified. Do
you want to save changes?" This of course is extremely frustrating!! I've
tried saving and loading it as ppt and pps, but they both have the same error.

Other powerpoint presentations run just fine, only ones that I've created
over the last few days seem to have this problem. So I wonder if I've changed
some setting that is causing this?

My other thought is that there is a lot of animation and a shockwave object
in this presentation - could that cause this? Or is it just a setting that
needs to be changed?

I tried changing the property files to read-only, but it didn't help.

Any ideas?

I created it in Powerpoint 2003.

Thanks.

It really sounds like a corrupted file. I would open a new blank
presentation and import the slides one at a time until I found the problem.

Ok, going on the idea it might be corrupt, I whipped up a dummy presentation
and added one element at a time... The problem is the shockwave object.

Any ideas about shockwave and ppt?

Yep, do you have the latest version of the shockwave player installed on
your machine and is that the activex control you are using?

SIDE NOTE: You might want to give PFCmedia a try as it handles SWF files
automatically.
