Slide Transition - Is this a bug?

My presentation works fine with transitions on mouse-click

but i want an invisible transition between just 2 slides (both slides have
the same header - i would obviously like a seamless transition)

to aid this (invisible) transition - i set 2nd of the 2 slides to 'no'
transition & automatic after 0 seconds

now the transition works fine - seamlessly - but the bullets automate too ?
i've heard this before - is it a bug i have to work round?

even more strange - experimenting i also set the 1st of the 2 slides to no
transition/automatic - and the bullets on the 2 nd slide go back to mouse
click ? (course this is no good since i need a transition for the 1 of the 2
slides)

is this weird or is it me )

You're seeing the way transitions are supposed to work. You just need to
understand some basics.

Zero seconds does not mean zero seconds AFTER your animations have played as
you set them to play. It means advance zero seconds after the slide first
appears. When you set an advance to zero seconds, you are telling the slide
to immediately advance. If you have animations (click or no click) they get
hurried along... because you told the slide to advance immediately.

If you want the control of clicking for animations then you have to set the
advance for long enough for you to do all your clicks. If you have automatic
animations, then you need to set the advance for long enough for all the
animations to play. Or do not use automatic advance at all. Click to advance
to the next slide.
