slide sizes

Hi there, I have a graphic designer that was going to design some slides for
us with backgrounds and all and i wanted to know if there was an exact size
of a powerpoint slide so that we can easily insert the images without having
to resize them?

By default, the slides are 10"x7.5" If you set your image resolution at 100
ppi and an image size of 1000 x 750 pixels will fit your slide just fine.
Or, you can use Shyam's image import wizard available here at
http://skp.mvps.org/iiw.htm which will do all the work for you
