Slide Numbers

Is it possible to change the format of the inserted slide numbers to be Roman
Numberials? If so, how is it done?

Not that I know of. Sorry. Other than putting in textboxes and doing it
yourself.

Format, Bullets and Numbering, click the Numbered tab and choose one of the
roman numeral formats.
 
I already tried that and it doesn't give the reults that I expect. I selected
the existsing slide number (slide 2) and changed the format to Roman Numerial
and it gives me "i. 2". I tried changing the format in the Master Slide
and that doesn't help either. I've got to do each one by hand.
 
My apologies ... I was thinking about text in text boxes, not slide numbers.

That was bad advice. And I'm afraid I don't know how to get the slide numbers to
format as roman numbers.
