SLIDE NUMBERS BEGIN with @%

William

I received a PPt whose first slide begins with the number 25 instead of 1. I
want the first slide to be number 1 but can't figure out how to make it so.
I've tried deleting the number box from the master slide, inserting a new
box, and then inserting pagination, but it still starts at 25. Ideas?

Thanks.

I just figured out the significance of the title of this message. The OP had
a problem that slide numbering was starting with 25, but the title of the
post is

SLIDE NUMBERS BEGIN with @%

I thought the @% was some sort of cursing because the OP couldn't get it to
work and was frustrated. I just figured out that @% is simply 25 with the
SHIFT key held down. I just thought I'd share (even though I suspect most of
the people still reading this thread figured it out long ago).
