Slide master and Header/footer

Hello,

In order to have footer information such as date, company name and page
number in all the slides, I used to set them in Slide master (in PowerPoint
2003). But in 2007 version, I have to use Insert header/footer option. Then
I can not use subscript/superscripts! What is the use if I cannot set
header/footer in slide master? For example I want to set on the left bottom
corner MyProductTradeMarkTM where TM is superscript for all slides. How can
I do this?

Thank you,

Athena

Athena,
Maybe try this, insert the TM as a symbol (Insert - symbol) in a textbox on
a slide, ctrl+x it. Now go to the master slide, click Insert - Header and
footer - in the footer box type your text - then hit ctrl+v to put the TM
symbol in. Choose Apply to all.
That seems to do the trick here.

Hello Luc,

No. It doesn't work. The symbol, when placed on the footer and applied
to slides comes out as a funny character not as superscripted TM.

Try holding down the Alt key and entering 0153T on the numeric keypad and
see if that does not work for you.

Hello Michael,

No. This does not do a thing either. (Except a pop says something about
Office 2003 Alt T key sequence).

It seems you cannot have superscripted characters. (Although copyright
symbol worked, TM as a symbol doesn't work)

Also it doesn't make sense that , you can set up features that apply all
the slides but filled footer items do not. You have to use Insert
Header/Footer to insert text to all slides. So why do they exist in Master
Slide form if nothing you place in them are applied to slides?

Both Alt+0169 © and Alt+0153 T worked tor me in both 2003 and 2007. You can
highlight either the copyright or the Trade Mark symbol and change the font
size if needed after it has been inserted.

That should be Alt+0153 without the T

Hello All,

Well Alt+0153 works, not Alt+0153T. Thank you.

I think the T was the websites go at producing â„¢ Alt 0153 is correct (Alt +
Ascii code)
