I think the problem may be with Microsoft. Note several users using
different e-mail servers are having problems. My be related to a recent
update. Did not have problems unitl about two days ago. I will be calling
AT &T (my e-mail provider) and then Microsoft if not resolved by AT &T. Will
get back to you with what I find out.

You have enabled an option that is not supported by the server.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."

No, this is not a Microsoft problem.
Do you get an error message when you try to send or receive? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
