Size Grid

When I open word 2003, the size grid at the top of the page is in
millemeters, not inches as it originally was set. How do I change it back to
inches? I know it's probably easy but I can seem to make it happen.
 
I assume you are describing the Horizontal ruler, go to Tools, Options,
General, change the Measurement units to inches.
